Oh it’s a clusterfuck. Expect the ballroom to be just as bad. Rain pouring in on the billionaires. Oh that’s gonna be good. But for now, w3 have the gift that keeps on giving. The Reflecting Pool. The living example of incompetence and corruption. No bid job, $20 million into it and it’s not done. You know how many Iranian schoolchildren we could have bombed with $20 mill? How many Venezuelan fishing boats can  we sink?

      “

A recently applied blue coating on the bottom of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was damaged in at least 85 places after workers rushed to refill the pool before the Donald Trump-requested liner had set.

A report commissioned by the contractor that did the work, obtained by The Washington Post, does not make any mention of vandalism despite the president’s ongoing claims and sworn statements from administration officials that attributed the peeled-off lining to “botched installation.”

The report instead blames a rushed job to meet Trump’s demands that the work be completed for the nation’s 250th anniversary on July 4.

You really are upset he wanted it done for the 250th?

      can you explain why?

And can you also explain why you don’t want this thing sparkling?

      you prefer this?

If wanting it fixed by the b-day date causes shoddy workmanship and cost overruns – that’s clearly a bad business decision. The fact that people in the business say it’s not due to vandalism shows you what actual fact checking reveals.

People also said Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation and OJ was innocent.

as far as a rush job leading to issues I would say this. AIM high. Why not? Being a critic is easy and hindsight is always 20/20. Did it work out? No?
and was it a mistake to try? I say hell no.

and yes the 8647 in the grass and in the pool show there were people who wanted to sabotage the project. I understand that. Do you?

you also understand not every crime is provable right?? Did 8647 people get arrested? Pretty sure they have not. Interesting. Does that mean it didn’t happen?

can you or Geraldo explain why you don’t want it sparkling or leaking 40k gallons of water every week?

Aim high and if it doesn’t work admit your mistake – don’t push it on others and flat out like. Honesty in politics – rare on either side of the aisle. Graffitti is not contributing to the structural issues and lack of curing. Sure, arrest the people who did that. Of course, no issues. But trying to deflect the blame for other things – typical.

Got it. If Thats your take, fine. I don’t agree that it MATTERS but that’s fine. You be you.

people were arrested and charged and then charges were dismissed.  Vandals showed up and wrote 8647 in two different spots. They were not found or charged. Trump didn’t make it ALL up. It didn’t play out exactly as he said but he wasn’t completly LYING. I’m 100% ok with that

I’m more concerned with a new sparkling pool vs what it looked like under Biden. Get it done. MAGA

What he made up is that he had videos of the Olympian causing the damage to the pool, that was a lie.

And if it doesn’t matter to you that people can’t accept blame for their mistakes, what can I say? Not surprising. That seems to be the norm with a lot of cults. Never taking the blame. I would have had a ton of respect for Trump if he said, “We tried to make this place look better since the prior regimes let it go. Unfortunately in our enthusiasm for the projects and upcoming celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday, we rushed a little too much and are in the process of making it right. We did discover lots of vandalism and graffiti. We will prosecute those people responsible and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.” I truly would have applauded and supported that approach 100%. Is it so hard to speak the full truth and be patriotic at the same time?

Trump didn’t arrest the bicyclist. The NPS or local

police did. And  He parked bike and he reached into the pool. Why?

again why so in the weeds on this? 8647 was happening AT THE POOL. That is vandalism.

how is that being In  a cult?
