It’s a commodity and the uncertainty of the war or non-war in Iran, whatever they are calling it today, plus the Houthis and Saudi Arabia plus the straight with a reduced flow – it all adds up to market uncertainty and higher prices. Once the conflict ends it will drop. Perception and speculation have always played a major role in gas prices. If we want to blame something else,,. the refinery mismanagement across multiple administrations is a major starting point.

Gas prices have gone up all over the world, not just in the U.S. only a feeble mind would believe this is a conspiracy to impact the midterms.
The war is not only a huge error and a gift to democrats but it’s self inflicted.
That war needs to stop now . i don’t give a fawk how humiliating it is for “ only an unconditional surrender “ Orange Jesus . Iran knows they have the upper hand in negotiations and they are pushing for their best deal.
What happened to drill baby drill? Energy independence. But it’s all ok with Magatards because inflation was higher under Biden . It was also higher under Carter, how does that make anything better when you are buying gas or groceries.

You know who never lies? Yoga pants and the financial markets.

The bond market is telling Bessent to shut the fuck up. Yields were at 5.25% yesterday. That screams lack of confidence in the economic policies of the group of incompetent amateurs running things.
Watch  what the markets are doing  that’s your unequivocal clue. The markets are sending clear signals.

Yes, I guess England and the rest of Europe is paying higher pricing just so that Trump doesn’t get elected.

What they really need to do is improve refining capacity. If we didn’t have so many oil lobbyists that actually might happen. But alas, they don’t want their profits diminished.

the EU and Ukraine bombed a Russian natural gas line to hurt Russia even tho it would harm its actual citizens.

why would EU countries flood their countries with millions of Muslims who don’t assimilate, get on public assistance and have very different value structures. Make it make sense?

I worked ten years in the energy sector for a private company including 8 directly in the oil business. I worked with traders, producers and distributers. I don’t pretend to be an expert per se but I know a little about a little. You are making something that isn’t there, it’s a commodity and as such it plays by certain rules. If Trump hadn’t listened to Bibi we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. Other than the usual complaining when refineries go down which happens under every president.

Anytime somebody says they are always right and surrounds themselves with yes men, ignores the experts and calls people traitors who disagree with them – that’s a problem. If you think you’re the smartest person in the room – you’re in trouble. More ways than one. Hiring people who will do nothing but lick your boots is a horrible management approach.

but it’s amazing you are leaving out the actual oil PRODUCERS like OPEC, Iran, Venezuela, Russia and USA. Of course these all have agendas and are not always aligned with one another
