Yeah, I know, what’s new? But things must be set down for the record, and for those in the dark.
First, the NYT put out the 1619 project, arguing that the War of Independence was fought to maintain slavery in the Colonies. The draft was sent to many historians specializing in that era who pointed out voluminous inaccuracies. All of that was ignored, with the screed sent out to public schools to be used to educate our children.
Now, to celebrate our country’s 250th birthday, the Times has come out with a new screed in comic book form for our children. Now, the reason for the war was to exploit and subjugate Indians. While slighting our Founding Fathers, the Times proffers a new set of heros, black, women, and Native Americans. The Colonists are depicted as oppressing people years before the war.
Next, the Times will assert that the War of Independence was fought to oppress women, cuz Britten had a history of female monarchs; only to be followed that the motivation was to oppress LGBT people cuz George III was so wimpy.
How different is the NYT from Darializa Avila Chevalier, 32, a Democratic nominee for U.S. Congress who founded a group at Columbia (naturally) which described itself thusly: “We are Westerners fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization”.
The Left constitutes an existential threat to the existence of our country. The list is extensive. If you live in a district represented by a Democrat, call him out for not calling them out.
