Kind of like allowing Japanese imports to raise the bar on Detroit’s quality. Maybe Americans can learn a little from the Asians on the importance of studying and getting good grades, and then raise the bar from themselves. Let’s face it, American test scores are lower for a reason.

Contributing to American tennis woes might be that it’s just not a hugely popular sport here. The $$ for athletic types is in other sports. Sort of like soccer, where a lot of the athletes get into football or baseball/ basketball. Michael Jordan or Jamar Chase steal the spotlight from Taylor fritz or Christian P. And Caitlyn steals the spotlight from Coco.
