First of all, I have zero issues with the firing squad or any other method they choose to kill the sob. He deserves whatever he gets, no questions asked. There is zero debate on this.
That said, I’m against a televised execution. Not because it’s mean or barbaric or for any “moral” or societal” reasons. Only because it would not serve as a deterrent and in all likelihood would serve as incentive for martyrdom. That’s my opinion anyway.
