KeymasterYou know, where I could pay full commissions? Where I could have an advisor to “handle” my money for me because they are “experts”? Like Grocery Stick Pip Squeak?
Nope, I just have old Brandon calling me about once a month asking if there’s anything they can do and I am like “hey, you might want to call this guy in Opportunity Zone San Clemente”
Just think, I could have been advised, like you know who, and gotten 1% on gold the last 13 months. Oh, and remember the genius he shared about living off gubmint money at 3-4%? Or when Pip announced he had been in the S&P500 the whole time after all, and that his orgasmic celebration in the first week of April 2025 was just a game, not real. Nope, he was celebrating because he had lost a bunch of money. Everyone does that.
So let’s just say our full service broker has us in an S&P Index fund. I would have made 30% this last year.
I am not a math major. I am not a double board certified doctor. Why, all the math I ever needed I learned in the 6th grade. I don’t have 4-5 degrees from USC. But I CAN spell. There’s that. But I am pretty sure 400% is greater than 1%, 3% or 30%
Oh I so baaaaaaadly want a financial expert. I so dearly wish I had a “money guy” who I could hand my money to and let him “manage it” for me. My dad was always amused at the financial ignorance of doctors. Guys who in the 90’s were making $300K $400K a year and the idiots were still broke. Of course, I had the benefit of HAVING a dad, not a stage mom who I had to please and make her happy to have “my son, the doctor”
I really wish I didn’t have to deal with all this success, all these taxes, all these decisions about who to leave all this money to. If I just sat on a hockey bench between two real players during my formative years, and in college, smelling the hockey sweat of my friends? I would not have all the financial troubles I do. Money, possessions, taxes, inheritance issues. Vacations around the world.
You think one of these play it safe financial advisors gets me 500% over the last 13 months? Yeah, me neither.
