ParticipantIt’s worth watching.
Mendoza was incredible.
3 other Hoosiers drafted already. A WR. A DB. And a RB.
No OL (center was a beast) and not the big white WR who was killing everyone in the playoffs.
Indiana was stacked. Makes coaches look great. Yes evaluation is a big part of coaching too but helps when your Jimmys are better then his Joes.

KeymasterCig did fine without him in year 1 and he will have far more talent in year 3

ParticipantI think Indiana will be fine. C. Cig got top O players from the TP. QB Josh Hoover, TCU, P = 10,000 career yds, 75 TD’s, Wr’s Marsh, Harris. His RB’s will be good, but ? on the OL and DL (Indy loss a lot via graduation). But, C. Cig is one hell of a FB coach; he will get his team playing hard nose FB again. No doubt.
Key 2026 Incoming Transfers
QB Josh Hoover (TCU): Targeted as a top quarterback addition.
WR Nick Marsh (Michigan State): Significant playmaker addition to the wide receiver room.
CB A.J. Harris (Penn State): Boosts the secondary.
CB D’Angelo Ponds (James Madison): All-American caliber addition who was later drafted by the NY Jets.
RB Turbo Richard (Boston College): Adds depth to the backfield.
DEs Tobi Osunsanmi & Chidio Bisor (Kansas State): Strengthens the edge rush.
S Preston Zachman (Wisconsin): Adds experience to the secondary.
DL Joe Hjelle (Tulsa): Adds size to the defensive line.-

ParticipantThey’ll be good but not to the level of the 2025 squad IMO. I’m expecting SC to be a lot better in 2026, but that is the common belief of all fans of their teams in the off season.

ParticipantIndiana was a flash in the pan. Fun to watch. But it’s still Indiana. Cignetti is a very good had coach. Wish SC had an average head coach. sc

ParticipantI’m leaning this way too.
You don’t plug and play Heisman winning QBs. USC fans know this all too well
