Huge recruiting weekend. Lots of commits and a bunch of 2027 recruits were there. TE commit Jefferson on the post game locker room vibe:

“It was electric,” said Jefferson. “Everybody was celebrating. There wasn’t one person in the locker room sitting down. That was one of the most electrifying locker rooms I’ve ever seen in my life. You can really tell they work hard together day in and day out.

“With all of the things you hear coach Riley talk about in practice, it really came together on game day.”

That is really good stuff because.

1 the reason USC run game has worked this year has been two te sets.

2 McRee is a senior I believe and lyons can step up next year I think he will be a junior

 

3 USC needs a mature established second TE

 

4 mark bowman is graduating early and will not be a factor his “senior year of hs” at USC.  I think he and USC just decided he will learn and develop more at USC in practice than at mater dei one more year.   Because either way they believe he will be in the nfl in 2030.  This way he will have a redshirt year before playing 3.
