      1. Ohio State

      2. Oregon

      6. @Indiana

      17. Washington

      18.@ Penn State

There is probably an L in this group of 5. Probably a road game. Penn State is in transition, we could very well win that one. Let’s see if the golden slipper no longer fits on Cignetti. Not sure how good they are but they will probably be well coached.

Rating the top 5 B1G teams schedule.

      1.  Ohio St has the tuffest schedule:  Texas, Oregon, Indiana, USC, Iowa, Michigan

      2.  Michigan has just as hard schedule:  Ohio St., Oregon, Penn St, Indiana, OU, Iowa, UCLA

      3.  USC has a hard schedule: Ohio St, Oregon, Indiana, Penn St, UDub, UCLA. (No Iowa, Michigan)

      4.  Oregon has a medium schedule among the top teams:  USC, Ohio St, Michigan, UDub, UCLA.  (No Penn St, Iowa)

      5.  Indiana has a below medium or the weakest schedule among the top teams:  Ohio St, Michigan, USC, UDub.  (No Oregon, Penn St, Iowa, UCLA)

Nonsense.  Why you have your balls tucked between your legs, unfurl them and know that this is the team, don’t give me that “oh we’re gonna lose a game somewhere” crap.  Believe.  40 million.

Predicting 4-1 in those games with this USC team and HC takes big balls lol

There are 5 losses on that list for each of Riley’s previous 4 teams.

Further, they play at Rutgers, and have Whiskey Fresno State UCLA and someone else.  Anyway.  Brutal schedule

I think they can pull out State Penn.  I am going to trust they don’t stumble against Rutgers, Fresno, UCLA etc

Beating any of the Top 3 would be the game of the year for anyone in the country.  USC has to play all 3.  I will say USC will upset one of those, but also then lose to one of UW, State Penn, or those other schools.  And windup 9-3 with the big marquee win against OSU IU or UO and an embarrassing loss against someone else (UW would not be embarrassing, good team).  The result will make them a borderline playoff team.

I don’t think 9-3 with a stunner loss to udub or whisky will make the playoffs. We’ll see but despite Bama being left out last year, I doubt an SEC team with the same record would lose out over SC this year.

eta can you imagine Carson’s last year, with PC at the helm, in a playoff scenario?
