KeymasterCory sims OR Hines? Whoa. Sounds like a move to keep sims on campus
Mosley AND Dixon Wyatt with boobie right there? What happened so that kid Williams they paid to come in from nc state? He’s not even in there
Vlad and Brock cooljay. Already 2 deep? What about the 5 star img star Pepe?
who is treter and where did he come from? I don’t recall him being part of the two deep last year
I had heard bowman would “eventually” rise from 3rd string He’s starting? My gosh that’s 3 true frosh starting of your 4 receivers usually not thought to be a good sign And one soph thrown in Crazy young

KeymasterShocked to see wafle starting on day 1. And with all the big names. And recruits. Who the hell is Zuriah fisher? Their CPA? There was another DE whose played a lot forget his name but he’s not even on there
like where is the big kid Jarrett? How about the 5 star from Texas? Tom tom making the 2 deep either means usc has problems there or I eat crow because I didn’t think much of him in hs
Surprised true frosh hill already is a co starter at corner Impressive And looks like montez Williams might be $ well spent Deep at corner
safety? If you have 3 guys listed for two spots And one of them is prophet sneeze and he’s hurt brown You have depth problems

ParticipantSome injuries Java. With the information lid on injuries some guys are banged up that we were unaware of. Hines, Shelby, Jarrett, WR Anderson, and of course Stewart will be starting once we finish with the cupcake tray. Fisher is a Penn State transfer. Bowman is a legit starter as is Mosley.

KeymasterIf Jarrett and Stewart are hurt in the middle that is a bit blow to the DT. And still no Winfield?
and no pepe. Two 5 stars and neither make the depth chart.
and a lot of injury at WR too. Though it appears they have talent and depth there

KeymasterThrow Shelby in and you have 3 of your 4 starting DL out coming out of camp. That’s not a good sign

ParticipantI don’t know this for a fact, but I suspect some guys could have played if they had to. But it’s San Jose State. A chance to send a message to recruits and to hype up last year’s class. Btw, huge number of recruits will be there Saturday including the Texas QB commit.

ParticipantAnother thought:
Freshman class is, as we expected, solid. If they stay together three years we are looking at NC #12.
Trent Mosley WR
Kayden Dixon Wyatt WR
Mark Bowman TE
Luke Wafle DE
Rock Hill (co-starter) CB.Some more in the two deep:
Tom Tom DL
Jayden Ramos DL RS Fr
Kolojay OL
Dyakonov OL
Riordan DB10 dudes. But where is Pepe?

ParticipantBruddah Java, want to share my thoughts about the official depth chart. Hell it so important to have good depth, because players will get banged up and injured. Thank God for GM Bowden. Yeah, I agree with you, it’s never good to depend on Fr. In the history of sports at any level, experience and older players (juniors and seniors) usually produced top 10 type teams and Championships.
This post will show how Ourlads were and always wrong with their Depth Chart. I strongly feel writers, editors for some media and podcasters, should refrain from guessing important info. Instead, they should stipulate what ever they are saying or writing is Not Official and dat it’s only their opinion. Because, if they do not do that, it hurts their reputation & credibility big time.
Also, SM are not reliable info (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X-Twitter, Reddit, What’s App and WeChat. I do not belong to any SM, but I do visit, see YouTube for Podcaster shows. I think they give pretty good info, like 75% good, solid info. The other 25% info are guesstimates and opinions. Heck, I give these guys a slide, they got to make a living and pay their bills.
I remember years ago, when 2 major R service guys were junior R analyst (do not want to name them, but they are big guys now) gave their thumbs up, will be Trojans, 100% will sign for 3 HS R. These 3 HS players were playing around with USC fans and giving mixed media info. At the time, I felt what they were doing and predicted will Not Sign with USC. Sure enough, all 3 picked signed with other schools. I looked for these 2 R guys explanation, but they hid, kept quiet and zero explanation. In my eyes dat was all bad and till today have zero respect for them. And, today many look at them as rock stars in the R world. Not me. Shoot, these 2 guys did not even play FB at any level. What President Trump call these people, “Fake News and Journalist”, lol… Cheers
OK, I’m gonna list most of the players dat Ourlads and even the 3 major podcasters got wrong. It will seem like I’m bashing them so be it, but these people must be accountable; they are in the business of giving out information to USC fans.
Wr’s and TE’s. Many fans place HS stats, high star ratings (R services) athleticism as must get players. For me, yes those are important, but I need seeing them in action in games. I look if they play hard all 4 qts, sure hands, blocking skills at point of attack and if they continue blocking downfield as very important traits. Our 1st string and 2 string Wr’s are young, but I’m betting they are A+ blockers and practiced hard all summer camp.
TE Mark Bowman, Wr Trent Mosley, KD Wyatt (all true Fr) saw them play many times in HS games and they were blocking animals. So I’m not surprised they are starters, 1st string.
Official depth chart vs Ourlad’s depth chart.
Wr’s. T. Anderson not listed, OL had him starter. Read dat he is a little banged up. I’m sure he will be a starter when he gets healthy. T.Hines 2nd string, OL had him as 1st string/starter. Dang, looks like OL did not know he came to camp late due to rehabbing an injury? He will be a starter soon, like Anderson.
QB. Jonas Williams, QB3. All podcasters had him as QB2. Looks like C.LR does not feel he is ready if Maiava goes down. No big deal, he is our future QB1
OL. Aaron Dunn, 2nd string, OL had him 3rd string. V. Dyakonov, 2nd string, OL had him 3rd string.
DL. DE Luke Waffle, 1st string, OL had him 3rd string. Tomu Topui 2nd string, OL had him 4th string. J. Ramos 2nd string, OL did not list him. Jarrett and Stewart (out, not listed), OL had both at 2nd string. DE Shelby not listed, OL had him 1st string. Man Ourlads FU big time with the DL positions.
LB. T. Robinson, 2nd string. OL had him 3rd string.
DB. Mad Riordan (S) 2nd string. OL had him 3rd string.
