ParticipantThanxs GTrojan for the good news. 24-7 profile on Trey Wright, 3 star, 5-11, 180 lbs, Junior/11th grade, Frisco Lone Star HS, Texas (5A division). DT QB. Led the nation in T Offensive yds = 5,854 yds, P = 4,062 yds, 38 TD, R = 1,792 yds, 21 TD (Crazy numbers). Very fast 4.42 40 yds = 10.6 100 m. Saw his tape, TW is explosive, strong arm, runs like a RB. No wonder C. LR offered him. Hell, no way he’s only a 3 star, I rate him 4+ stars all da way. Hope we get him.
Rivals list him 5-9? Nah, looking at his HL tape, the eye ball test, he looks every bit 5-11. When he’s next to OL, LB, DL, without ? he’s 5-11. Read where his HS coach said for sure he will grow. Bet you C. LR figured that out as well. 29th QB in N, shoot the R services FU rating QB’s the most. He has to be in the top 12-14 QB in N.
Offers: Clemson, SMU, TCU, OU, Missouri, Florida St & others. Clemson and OU are his leaders. USC is late in da game.
See his Soph tape. Impressive QB and athlete.

ParticipantI have an inkling, hunch dat C. LR want 2 QB’s, one 2028 HS class? Then I think he’s gonna wait until the 2026 TP season to shop da QB market for 2027 season?
Man I hope we get Trey Wright though… Cheers

KeymasterMost coaches have a particular player type that fits what and how they coach. Certain height. Size etc.
riley has had many. Murray was tiny. Like 5-9 180. And he’s made an nfl career and won a Heisman. Riley can adapt. Brilliant mind and coach

ParticipantYep Bruddah Java I’m not concern with Trey Wright size. There have been so many under 6-0 QB’s that were great (AA and NFL). Doug Flutie 5-10, Bryce Young 5-10, Drew Brees 5-11, Russell Wilson 5-11, Diego Pavia, 5-10, Kyler Murray 5-10, Davey O’Brien 5-8, Stetson Bennett 5-10 and the great Fran Tarkenton 5-11/6-0.
As a Junior/11th grade, his HS coach said he will grow some more. Bet C. LR figured that out as well… Cheers
PS. Wish we land this awesome QB.
