not bad for a a lesser opponent particularly
an 8pm start
i don’t give a damn if some fans didn’t show up as long they paid
this attendance criticism is ONLY because it’s USC
for God’s sake even the New York Times was talking about it
LOL
the haters are going to hate

ParticipantNo shame in that number. It was a heat vortex and better people stayed home and healty
your RB number on Saturday. Lmao. Yikes
but Bruin football is a tree falling in the woods. No one sees it. No one hears it. No one cares

KeymasterAlways been a big difference in sold v attend. All teh SEC and B 10 teams have the same. Michigan NEVER has 108,000. I was there for the MSU UM game. 108,000 announced and there were huge chunks of open seats up top. Like entire section rows. 20-30 of them. Open.
Been lot of articles about this online for all of CFB lately. USC got attention because it was opening day. UCLA has had games in the past where they “announced” 30,000 fans and looked like 5,000 were there

ParticipantWhy is this such a big deal to you Trojans? Outside of LA no one even thinks about you guys. Just let it be. No one wants to sit in the heat and watch you guys play teams like Fresno and Louisiana, it’s not your fault, you guys are the best in the land and on the way to a NC, it’s them.

ParticipantHow can you say that when it became a national story and was in the New York Times?

ParticipantIf you guys stopped being so butthurt about it the story would go away. The world is messing with you. The more tears you shed, the bigger the story. You should know that by now. Eat me.

ParticipantThe only bad publicity is no publicity
if the national sports media wants to cover a nothing story about USC football attendance that’s millions of dollars of free publicity
and everyone knows this silly nationwide story of USC attendance woes is only because it’s USC
as long as they buy tickets I don’t care if they don’t show for a nothing game
the haters gonna hate
