USC Announces 2026 Home Opener Vs San Jose State

There it, our full schedule. Three home games to start the season then Rutgers. 4-0 heading into the Oregon game at the Coliseum. 5 of first six games at home where we seem to play better. SEC type schedule.

Saturday Sep. 26: vs. Oregon

Saturday Oct. 3: vs. Washington

Saturday Oct. 10: at Penn State

Saturday Oct. 17: BYE

Saturday Oct. 24: at Wisconsin

2 byes that close together is that right or a misprint? The Penn St game will be interesting with Riley going against Lynn.

I checked on those byes again and they appear to be accurate. I think the byes lay out favorably as does the schedule. Byes later in the schedule when injuries start to pile up is a good thing. Also the soft early schedule allows the freshmen to get some run. True Fr Bowman, Mosley and Pepe are likely to start or at least play a lot from the get.

@ Penn state will be a very interesting match up. Lynn vs Riley will be interesting. My $$ is on Riley throwing in a few wrinkles. Maiava, Waymo, Miller and the entire OLine coming back gives us a lot of experience. Not sure how strong State Penn will be. A lot of Iowa State transfers will be playing .

I’m planning on being there for that tilt.

The first 3 games will average 40k. Entz will beat Riley too.

USC has only lost to Fresno State once. 1992 and we fired our coach right after that game.  I don’t think 2026 is the year we lose to Fresno State again.
