Will DC Patterson fix USC poor D?
Last year, 2025 these 10 teams were the best D teams in college. They were the most physical, skilled, biggest, fastest, top conditioned D. Most of all A+ team tackling. If USC is gonna make the CFP, DC Patterson must get his boys play like these teams listed below. Hell the D in the C.LR USC era have been Soft, terrible tacklers with had bad instincts, slow reaction, kinda stupid players. 2025 they kept making the same mistakes all season, freaken embarrassing.
Actually, USC’s front 4 (DL) were very good, solid B+. The problem areas: LB = D, CB = C-, S = C, NB = C-. LB and DB’s needs to improve Mucho.
Here are my top 10 D. Thru out the season, these teams were very impressive and I’m not ranking them by D stats, but how they played as a team. They played hard all 4 quarters and in very good FB condition. They had A+ Front 6 and skilled (A) DB’s, back 5.
The top 4 had a complete D, no weakness. A team dat makes da CFP must have a good O (at least an 8 rating) + great D (9 to 10 ratings). USC has a great O (10 ratings) but lacked a good D (5 ratings). DC Patterson must get our D in the top 10-15. Shoot, I think a top 15 will get USC into the CFP, 2026. And, get the respect back again… Cheers
