KeymasterKinda serious. Each play they are using 30-35 of the 40 seconds. They want to limits possessions by both teams in this game.
first half both teams had the ball only 3 times. Which I think would be exactly what ucla wants

KeymasterBruins OL is doing a great job and the game plan is 3-4 yard plays. Run clock
uSC OL and whoever is filling in. Miller banuelos. And Reed are not controlling the line. And lines win games.
bruins going to frustrate usc by nibbling them to death and limit possessions. Then I think like Twice in the half you’ll see them go long and try to burn USC

Keymasterin the first half. I marveled that I felt UCLA receivers caught every close ball and were in the perfect space on their routes and their offense just looked like a machine. Not a downfield machine, but a very efficient short yardage ball control machine
that last possession Bruins had two catches they probably should have made. They would’ve been good catches, but either one of those move the ball down field 20 yards and gives them a new set of downs and keeps the ball away from USC
Trojans now are in a position to take over this game

KeymasterBruins now have a problem. They are going to have to play much faster. Down by 10 with I think 12 minutes left they won’t be able to run the ball as much and they won’t be able to run the play clock down to five or six seconds every time.
They are going to have to turn this into a much faster game and create more possessions. If they score on all of them, great it works. But that creates more room for mistakes more plays might have to go downfield more
the more plays that are run the more this favors the better more talented team and in this case the team that’s ahead
