Riley Robell Center, Carter Sweazie RG and Landon Ellis Receiver, who by the way did not start but got a lot of PT.

Anthony Woods started at RB and he’s not a JMU transfer.

Maybe you should get out and support your own team instead of focusing so much on UCLA.  You’re changing the original thread you started from 6 JMU players starting on offense to overall transfers regardless of the school. 6 did not actually start period.

It’s Chesney’s first year and to field what he hopes to be a competitive team he had to go out and try to bring in players that can contribute. He inherited a program that Chip Kelly left bare because he didn’t like to recruit. Not the case with Chesney he’s out there recruiting all the top High school players, and has already received a number of commitments.

Riley in his first year at SC brought in 20 transfers and 17 of those guys earned primary starting roles. He needed time to recruit quality High school players and now you’re seeing that happen.

I’m stoked to have Bob Chesney and I’m on record saying he’s very similar to Dick Vermeil.

I don’t understand the issue personally. Today’s transfer portal allows it so of course he’s going to take his players. I don’t like anything about the transfer portal personally and I feel bad for small schools, but given the rules and given the success Indiana had, ucla would be foolish to not do similar. And since Riley took Caleb it’s kind of hypocritical for SC fans to whine.

I’m hoping that something does change for the overall rules and nil etc, but this isn’t a kiff dipping into the rejected nfl players pool.

You two sure are talking a lot about a team that played like a “mid-major”.  UCLA has a long way to go, maybe will win 7 games this season, no one is saying otherwise, but you assclowns are going on and on and on like Bruin Fans are claiming NC or bust or something.  I’m just happy we have a seemingly good coach and a shot in most games, other than that not expecting much until next season at earliest, with most of those scary JMU guys gone.
