KeymasterI’m playing chess while opportunity zone guys are playing checkers.
Should have bought it when it slipped to $100 and I was trading it. Instead I’ve been loading Nvidia.
I own about $900k of Tesla and they’ll merge so I’ll end up w it anyway. Also own 100,000 shares of tqqq so movements in the big boys bump penises. And me. As well

KeymasterWhen people were falling over themselves to buy SpaceX at the IPO of 135 and first public price of 150 I said that it would come down to 135, odds are In a year. It took 6 weeks. I also said it wasn’t about Rockets or Mars and I asked everyone if they actually KNEW what it was about and where the future lay. Was especially curious whether our board loudmouth, Mr Opportunity Zone Grocery Stick actually knew what he was investing in. Not surprisingly, the answer was no.
I said at that point that Elon had 10,000 low Orbit satellites. He then bought the residue of Nextel’s spectrum About $8 billion I think. Which T Mobile had to sell off. He’s now negotiating cell tower usage from the same 80,000 towers Sprint and ATT use.
I said then and now that before our very eyes Elon built a network of internet service that can serve globally and will be very responsive and fast. As well as building a cell phone network and becoming a service not just to America but the world. He doesn’t need to be #1 He can take a small piece of every market int he world and do well.
Didn’t invent anything. But did use the tech used to garner NASA contracts to build himself a business that may one day rival or surpass Verizon ATT and T Mobile in value. All while everyone was talking rockets and Mars. I would imagine if anyone read, it was probably in the road show or the disclosures but most of us don’t go beyond the opening paragraph.
Me? I usually see stuff before it happens. I can’t always see who will benefit. Example, I said 4-5 years ago Amazon was worth more broken up than together. I said they should sell ads like google. On their shopping site. And also on their prime video service. I also said they should separate prime video and delivery and start charging for the former. Though perhaps renting the ones they do and having ads does the same thing. I said they could sell ads to those renting space on AWS and they do that now. Also said they should start charging people to carry and deliver packages, rivaling USPS and UPS, which they just started doing. Oddly none of the above had really affected their stock price much. But I have to assume those are all profit centers. I did not know anything about AI at the time I said all that about Amazon, nor did I know of their soon to be involvement. But that company has about 7-8 different ways they make money, all of whom would be major businesses by themselves.
