2017 – said he was Most talented USC QB I’ve seen since Carson Palmer. I was called crazy.
totally different playing styles but both abs studs
2018 – said he was much better talent then Josh Rosen. Many disagreed
2018 – said he will leave NYJ out of purgatory and was much better prospect then Baker Mayfield.
2019 – He finishes year with best QB ranking in NFL last 5/6 weeks. The big apple is excited.
2020 – HC Gase is a disaster. Jets traded sams #1 WR year before and give him 37 year old RB Frank Gore.
I said he’s certaintly better then Zach Wilson & Jets should build around Sam with Jmar Chase or Penei Sewell. They didn’t listen.
Rookie deal seduced another team
Said he’s even better then the Prince who was promised Trevor Lawrence as well fwiw but at least the gap is more narrow then vs Wilson.
2021 – said Sam would star in Carolina with CMC. CMC proceeds to miss 7/8 games that year
2022 – Carolina brings in baker. Said Sam was better than Baker. Baker went 1-5 and got left in locker room at an away game. Sam finishes season 4-2.
said Sam was better then Bryce Young and car should keep Sam. But rookie deal is too tempting.
2023 – signs with San Fran. Said he’s better than Brock Purdy (who I also like. Since his FR year at ISU). Purdy proceeds to lead league in QBR and team goes to SB. Sam stays on bench even tho he was better player IMO. Impressive job by Purdy to keep him on bench.
2024 – signs with Vikings. Said he Will shine with Justin Jefferson & Jordan Addison. Wins 14 games and has best professional season. Said they should keep Sam and trade JJM. And I think JJM will work out actually. But the rookie deal is very compelling.
Has 5 game winning drives.
2025 – said Sam was better then Geno Smith and was excited to see Sam with JSN, an old Kupp and Kenneth Walker but was very worried about losing Jefferson and Addison.
most folks said it was a downgrade for Seahawks to lose Geno.Sam wins 17 games and they were like 12 points away from being 20-0.
If you look at objectively, Sam’s been a very good bet for me.
