148 right now.  I said the history of these things is they return to ipo territory in the first year.  After hitting $200 day 1-2 I didn’t expect a return to earth to happen on day 16-17.

man everything moved fast these days.  I was looking to buy in and had hoped to get it around ipo.  It’s within 10% now.  I just wasn’t ready this fast.  Now I’m hesitant.   So many investment choices.

At least grocery stick  is happy.    That was the happiest day of his life.  Next to the one where the market collapsed a year ago April.   Ran around with a gold poop in his adult diaper that day

Hey Java, some good points in your post. First of all, I’m in on SpaceX. Got in at the wrong time but I plan to hang  in there for a while. The stock will be a winner just gotta be patient . If the rumors of a merger with TSLA come to fruition we can be in for a nice run. I don’t have a lot in there but I started slow with TSLA too and it turned into a lot of money.
A lot of investment choices is right, first of all, the Magnificent 7 stocks are all cheap right now. They are all signaling BUY right now. Look at the chart. I have been buying steadily.  Magnificent Seven are Nvidia (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet, Amazon (AMZN), Meta Platforms (META), Apple (AAPL), and Tesla (TSLA).

Lastly, HAHAHAHA. The April stupid  Liberation Day market collapse ripped the mask off a lot of posters on the board. Their blind support of Dear Leader was revealing. After the collapse and paraphrasing:
Old Hickory “ Trump doesn’t care about stock investors, he cares about regular people”.

Augie “ Most Americans don’t invest in stocks anyway”

Pasabeta ( in a retard voice) “MAGA! Manufacturing jobs are coming back”

Art V -deathly silence. He knew it was a mistake.

GS- “ HAHAHAHAH EAT MERDE! I  only invest in 1.99% yield muni bonds and CD’s and as a Warren Buffet disciple, GOOOOLLLLDDD.”

It was at that point we knew who on the board invested and who didn’t, who understood, who among us were independent thinkers and who were sheep. Who was a visionary and who was a blind fool.

You, RCW and myself were public in saying that we were moving forward. We posted our investment moves and didn’t shrink in the face of adversity. We reiterated our faith in the financial markets despite the assault. We were right and we stacked racks. The meek shall inherit the earth but until then it belongs to us, the lions of Mapogo. We feasted on the weak as they hesitated.

      Boom muthafawkers.

The spacex thing is interesting, a ton of small buyers without the luxury of time went all in with money they didn’t really have to begin with and are now realizing how everything works.  Might be a really shitty Christmas this year.

The selling in Space X has come on low volume. You are seeing shares moving from the weak shareholders into the hands of stronger ones. Trading at $152 while typing this post, so the big question, is most of the selling exhausted and the stock building a base at the 150 level or will there be another leg down? We will find out soon. 30% pullbacks in stocks especially in the technology industry isn’t a big surprise.

Remember when FB (Meta) went public at $36 and sold off in the coming days to $18 a plunge of 50%. IPO buyers were sick saying the stock now has to double just to get back to even. Patience was rewarded it went on to reach an all time high of $700.

I’m bullish on Space X, bought the IPO and purchased more shares in the secondary market. I don’t expect to get rewarded until at least the 3rd year when the company starts posting positive earnings.

And meanwhile I am trying to figure out when to get in.

For the time being I am just selling calls on Carvana at $85 while it sits at 65.

And selling calls on Lam.  LRCX at $450, $530 and $450 the next 3 Fridays.

Nothing hugely risky but pocketing $20k-50K a week.

Space X seems more fun and exciting.  But this boring rinse and repeat is awfully lucrative so mostly I just need to fight boredom.  And here I thought being a degenerate gambler daytrader was going to be a lot more variety and fun than this.

Yeah I may let people like you bail out of it and let it sink first.

I just sold puts on Nvidia and bought a few shares

Now it’s at $135.  IPO price.  10% below where the general public could first buy it.

still mulling.  Might let people wet their pants a little longer.  I’m still collecting $ on Carvana and lam research and a little on tqqq and meta.  I know.  Boring.  Repetitive.  But it pays really well for 15 minutes a day on my phone

The world I am sure is dying to know.  At this point it’s entertainment for me.

I am also wondering about my theory that everything Grocery Stick touches turns to 💩

Picture, if you will, that this board is your only form of human contact outside of people flipping you off on the freeway or laughing at your bitch fit over a straw in the McDonalds drive thru. Between science and superstition it lies between the pit of a man’s lonliness and the summit of his stupidity. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call… “The Opportunity Zone.”

$123. Watching rats leap off sinking ship and wondering how low this goes.

if everything grocery stick turns to 💩 then this is a massive load of stinking diarrhea.

Wonder when I should jump in.  Maybe $100 or will it sink that low?

It’s diarrhea salad at this point but as they say in the plumbing industry, one man’s clogged toilet is another man’s bread and butter.

I’m sitting on some cash.  The problem is that I’d like to take some out.  And what I want to invest I may want to put into Nividia or Microsoft because both are solid winners who are poised for the AI boom and yet have lagged the market the last year or so.  Both I’ve missed out on and here’s my chance.  Nividia actually has a better PE ratio and forward PE than a lot of stocks that don’t have its allure and glamor.   Tempted

So you come on this board and ASK if anyone knows how you can get in on the IPO of 135 or as soon as possible after it.  Obviously having zero idea how an IPO works .   You are a gambling day trader that plays the futures market against other idiot loser day traders.   You don’t  even know your assigned broker’s name at your discount house.

And because you were so freaking stupid you not only missed the run up to 150 but now think you are genius because you are now going to get in at 108 and change?

      OK.   sc

Just out of curiosity.  Does your Mom tell you you’re a failure like your friends here?  Or does she lie to you?

      Yup. You got it.

I think you missed the part where I wrote that 90% chance you can get most of these stocks within a year at the IPO price.

But yep, I was asking.  And yes I know how an IPO works.   How does it feel being smug and poor?  Just curious

I am not sure if he’s an assigned broker.  His name is Mel  Melvin to you.  I assume Brandon was his fill in.  Yep yep yep

Those who play sports have a phrase we often use.  We would rather be lucky than good.  Remember how good you felt when SpaceX hit $200?  And how I was curious as it dropped to $175  Then 150.  Then 135.  I could have bought any time in that cycle.  Why do you suppose I didn’t?  Just lucky huh?

So ok, I am so dumb.  I am so ignorant.  You are so smart and wise.

So tell me.  How much money have you made on this thing?  How many shares did you buy?

Come on.  Really put me in my place and show me what’s what.  Show me how profitable it’s been for you Grocery.  Because ignorant stupid people miss out and lose money.  And really insightful wise people with their own brokers phone number in their hip pocket because they can’t or won’t execute their own trades are the really brilliant ones making money.

Tell me how much you’ve made?

What if I bought Space X shares in a month for $70?   Man how dumb would I be then?  Oh, and what if I was PAID to buy them at $70?  That would really make me stupid wouldn’t it?  I’ll make you a deal.  I will buy your shares.  All of them.  For $70 today.  Offer might not be there in a month.

Makes me feel so much better talking to astute people like you.  No wonder you have to sock your money into real estate gold and bonds.  You’re not very good at the rest of it now are you?

Space x went public with 638 million shares

on Thursday the lock up period ends.  I forget if it was 6 weeks or 90 days.  Either way. August 6.

at that point shareholders locked in can sell their shares.  I’m not sure if it’s all of them or this is just another segment.  Either way it’s another billion.  Shares.   Doesn’t mean people will actually put them on the market but I suppose potentially they could.  Diluting supply.

it’s back up to $119 so we will see what effect that saturation has.

911 million shares unlock today with another 300 plus in a few weeks. Too bad investors freaked out over AI spending because earnings were better than expected and the stock was on a little bit of a roll.

The stock actually bounced today.  #113 at the moment.    So if that much unlocked that doesn’t mean they all decided to sell or it hit the market.  I am sure Elon owns a lot of that.  So the less that is turned loose the better.  The stock holding steady is a very good sign at least for today I would think.
