As a starter with over 6 starts.

      That’s actually pretty good no?

im not talkimg San Fran where he played one game

again. His journeyman status was because he was on crappy teams in crappy organizations who were drafting #1 or #2 and so they chose to draft a highly touted college kid. The amazing Zach Wilson and Bryce young. And MIN had drafted JJM at #10 the year prior

49-41 over 8 years is by definition a JOURNEYMAN!  Every analyst, executive and coach considers him a mid tier, average NFL QB.  These are facts.

The next couple of years will determine his legacy, for sure. It’s been extremes. but what have you done lately indicates a major upswing

I agree. That said, Seattle, like Minnesota, has so much talent they just need a contiued game manager and an improvement in the bonehead turnovers.

Sam is entering his prime.   His next five years will determine his legacy.  He was poorly coached at SC .  He was on crappy teams.  He had lousy footwork.  (see mendoza with raiders).      Now he just has to stay healthy and play the game.   He sure is fun to pull for.  sc

No simpleton. Thats the easiest “math” there is.
It actually doesn’t say near as much as you think it does.

especially in a league ran by a salary CAP with huge disparities between rookies vs. vets for the QB position.

Ps now we are calling him a journeyman and not a bust???? Noted.
