Too little blocking in a lot of open area for a RB and pretty far back from LOS.
wasnt a great block but it was a B. I don’t know if defender was a DE or big LBer but he didn’t move on hard contact.
RB made wrong call for sure. He tried To go outside with poor angle and if he went inside it’s at least 5+.
Java thinks this is poor blocking and good play design apparently.

Well, if you look at 91(?) for the sparties he’s trailing on the inside and right there to make the tackle if he cuts back. I think in slow mo there appears to be a hole that in real time isn’t quite there. Not sure, too hard to say for sure. To me the block missed otherwise he pops outside for a decent gain. I don’t think it’s quite as clear as you say. I’d like to see it in real time and from a couple of angles to be sure, but it doesn’t look as cut and dry as you’re saying. At least not to me. I would say at the least a bad block contributed to the play being a loss. I’d like to be a fly in the wall during the film study lol.
