KeymasterHe of the 50 2/3 inning scoreless streak that ended in early June. 3rd or 4th longest streak of all time. Longest by a Phillie. Wasn’t it also the longest by a lefty?
Anyway, what’s he up to these days?
Well, before yesterday he allowed five and four earned runs in his previous two road starts. And yesterday managed the worst start of his career.
He had no explanation after giving up a career-worst nine earned runs in just 3 1/3 innings in a 15-1 loss to the Kansas City Royals, as well as giving up 3 home runs in those 3.1 innings.
This is a fickle game. Guy is making history and the next 3 weeks he is dog crap. No wonder guys go nuts and become drug addicts and get divorced and kill themselves playing this game.

ParticipantThat’s pretty crazy. But it does make sense IMO.
Even Elite pitchers nibble on edges. They are incredible at placement. They are also human. Can’t always paint within centimeters. I assume!!
Plus elite pitchers have big movement. Again hard to control every time. Think Joe Kelly lol.
One of the more amazing things about Shohei to me is his control even with plus speed and movement. -

KeymasterCrap I didn’t realize they were going to start him in the All-Star game. I’m surprised he even made the All-Star game with his recent performance
and sure enough he shows up in the first setting I get whacked for three runs in one inning. This guy sucks. I can’t believe with his recent performance. They handed him the starting nod
was skenes not available. ?? What about miZ?
whose decision was this? Roberts? Idiot-

KeymasterPhilly has 2-3 pitchers on this roster. This guy was a mistake. As my thread above clearly says
and the results proved
