3 td’s and two picks is not good and sure doesn’t seem like NFL caliber. Nico was 19/32 , under 60%, if Maiava did that you would be crucifying Riley. Just wow with you.

Riley passed on Nico for Maiava, that should tell you something. Riley has been around NFL qb’s quite a bit. Nico looks like a poor man’s DJ Ukaleilei.

And they all would have been good college qb’s with Riley developing them. Look at what he did with Moss. Riley turned him into a decent college qb.

Moss under Riley had 18 td’s in 9 games. If love Nico’s three td’s and two picks you gotta love Moss’s numbers. and Moss was asked to leave USC .

The only thing Nico is better at than Maiava is the ability to run. The dude is like a gazelle at 6-6 when he takes off. He had a great all around game against Purdue, but the prior 2 games not so good.

processing/adjustments is hard to assess since we don’t know routes and play design
