Metcalfe and his 100 + targets leaving might have had a little to do with that. Smith Njigba went from starting 2024 as the number two target to progressing to number 1 by the end of year with Metcalfe a little behind him, to being clear and far away the best receiver on team in 2025. Cooper Kupp was a shell of his former self in 2025. More credit goes to being the clear best option. Receiving room wasn’t that good last year, Barner and a hobbled Cupp are no Metcalfe. And I’m a Darnold fan, not to the man crush level as you.
