      1. Why didn’t Duke call time out and move the ball to half court?  Or is that only an nba thing?

      2.  When UConn steals the ball I think it was at 5-6 seconds.  Why wouldn’t UConn call timeout.   Set up a play.  They only needed a two.  They’d get the ball at half court.  Plenty of time to set up a play.

why do you suppose both teams chose to operate in chaos?  The shot UConn made was a very low percentage shot is why I ask.  It’s not the shot you want

last.  After the shot goes in there’s time on the clock and UConn players leave the bench and run around the court.  Why wasn’t there a technical called?  Shouldn’t there have been?   Or is that a moment where everyone gives grace and looks the other way because of the moment?

Pretty stoopid of the Dookies. Why didn’t the guy with the ball just put two hands around it and wait to be fouled or for time to expire? They didn’t need to advance the ball.

I think UConn was better off taking a shot in the chaos than calling a timeout to set up a play. There were about 4.5 seconds left when Mullins got his hands on the ball in the backcourt. If they had a timeout and tried to call it, I’m guessing they have less than 4. I like the odds on the scramble play better than trying to free up someone from sideline OB.

Technically you’re right about the technical foul but they will usually let it slide in that instance as long as it doesn’t interfere with play.
