He seems surprised when an opponent finds a play that works they go to it over and over and over.
      TE seam routes this year.
Utah TE (Dalton Kincaid) in calebs Heisman year.

Good chance in his practices he never does this against our D either?

And when he finds a play that works he doenst use it again? Is he too creative to use a play twice? It’s actually quite frustrating. And when it Doesn’t work he will keep trying thinking it will.

      It’s a fatal flaw actually

      Per his running plays.

Throughout Riley’s tenure the glaring defensive problems have remained the same, regardless of who the DC is:

Inability to set the edge on outside running plays.

Covering the tight end anywhere, but especially between the numbers.

Covering the middle of the field in general.

Linebackers and secondary confused at the snap about their assignments.

      Bad angles by potential tacklers.

It turns out that tackling in practice actually matters. B10 athletes seem to moved differently than pillows. Soft, stupid thugs don’t perform well.
