ucla is the only pac 12 big 10 team still undefeated.   We will see how good they are as they travel to Eugene and play Oregon next

What sucks is that while we don’t know yet how good ucla is or isn’t, they are improving. Meanwhile under Riley year one to year five is a dip followed by a flatline. Yes, different conference but we aren’t paying him to finish 5th in the BIG ten.

True but it’s not an easy climb either you’re trying to climb over Michigan.  Oregon.  Ohio state.  All of whom have money and recruit very well.

Anita not like you can just.  Like in the pac.  Have one great recruiting year and everyone else is rated 15-25.  Get a top 5 class and now you have a talent advantage

 

here you get a top class and Oregon is number 2 and Ohio state is 3-4.  So getting on their level takes a lot longer.

to me I see the games as far more competitive.  Tied with Oregon last year in the third.  Tied this year in the 4th and a bad call turns the game around.  Can’t put yourself in that position but I don’t think this team is far off.

the defense was better under Lynn and Patterson has more talent.  That concerns me

UW is a surprise. I thought they would be better. 5-1 isn’t the end of the world plenty of reasons to be negative about USC but after watching Lynn work his magic invite state penn loss and Indiana struggle, well let’s see what happens.
