Not too many happy college football fans right now

conference realignments have been a disaster for attendance

constant new rosters has been both successful and a disaster depending on what side your on.

coaching changes has seen very mixed results.

It’s a wild world….hard to get by without a friend …

Who is  jason beck?

Oregon has spent a billion dollars building a football program that buys another teams starter and makes him a bench jockey.  Like grocery stick.  Spends $2 million to donit.  Has the most expensive roster in the country.   Buts their qbs instead of developing them.  Pays their staff a ton so they don’t  run away like previous coaches. Achieves a number 2 preseason ranking and then falls completely out of the  top 25 within 5 games.   And are yahoo sports #1 disappointing team in the country at this stage

my point is.  There are bright sides to this

If anybody thought PSU was going to be fixed in year one they were smoking crack. Time will tell if Campbell can assess talent and make adjustment to BIG10 level of play, but no way was that an instant fix. Michoacan was 8-5 and 9-4 under the playa Moore, and has a horrible QB. No way was Whittingham going to turn it around in one year. LSU is the biggest disappointment so far with Oregon being second.

ucla, Kentucky and ok state are the biggest positive surprises in my book

Beck is the OC for Michoacan.

Shoot add Texas, Texas AM, Florida, Florida St for spending mucho bucks with little success.  I’m big donors, BOD and fans for these teams, I would be very pissed.  I still think C. Kiffin will get LSU in the top 4 and was a good investment…  Cheers
