I read a couple of weeks ago that even a Danish official ‘understands’ what Trump is saying about the Arctic and Greenland and that moves need to be made.
Seems like today’s events regarding Greenland suggest Trump agreed to take the military option off the table, as a negotiating tool, in order to advance the US’ negotiating position. I think the big NATO nations were humiliated by Trump’s aggressive stance, and didn’t want to appear like they were cowed by him. Looks like the parties are headed towards a deal.
