Let us know if they have opportunity zones over there, maybe set up some kind of exchange program so we can ship out some of our less desirables.  I bet they have plastic straws as far as the eye can see.  Sell it.

Great news.  I was in San Clemente the other day.  The Michael’s there has lots of gay guys that are good at picture framing.  Who knew.

 

So OC is so busy and expensive and crowded right?  No room for a Buccee’s  No Waffle Houses.  Can’t find a dollar tree to save your life.  And So Cal in general is known for having very few Wal Marts.

 

But hee haw.  Guess what’s next to Michael’s?  I will give you a hint.  First word rhymes with Wal  and the nest rhymes with MART.

 

So now we have a Costco right on Camino Capistrano where all the grumpy old pretend to be rich cheap people shop.  And we have a Wal Mart.  Sounds like a really upscale place don’t it?  lol  I told you it was Adelanto by the Ocean,  Oh, and how many place in Southern OC have a STATER Brothers?  Yeah, the grocery store of the HD.  And poor Southern LA COunty.  Sante Fe Springs I’d believe.  La Puente sure.  San Clemente?  COME ON DOWN.  Yep.  Staters.

 

But we aren’t done.  We were told San C doesn’t have any fast food places.  Everyone there is too good and too healthy for that.  EXCEPT 3 of my faves just happen to have brand spanking new places in yes.  San Clemente.  Not Dana point, which has the Ritz Carlton, Waldorf Astoria and Marriot Laguna Shores.  And Montage just over the edge.  Nooooooooooo  San Clemente has In N Out, Chick Fil A and the Habit.  I bet thery are all in the Opportunity Zone.

 

Oh, have I mentioned Adelanto by the Ocean ALSO has an outlet mall?  Yeah.  What South OC City has an outlet mall?

 

Hmmm, Newport Beach?  No no no  That’s Fashion Island.  One of the most expensive places around.

Costa Mesa right?  Nooooooo that’s South Coast Plaza.  Where you can bankrupt Elon Musk or find the limit on his CC.

Irvine?  Nah, that’s the Spectrum.  Nice Ferris Wheel.  I miss the Ampitheater it used to be.  Saw Rush’s last show there.  Nice mall. ok, fairly big and fancy.  Not the same as the above two.

Mission Viejo?  No, that’s the Shops at MV or Viejo.  Nicest classiest mid size mall you’ve never heard of.  Wealthy suburbia.  Sort of like the Galleria circa 2026.

San Clemente?  DING DING DING.  Yes, the town of Opportunity Zones, Wal Mart, In N Out, the Habit, Chick Fil A, grump Costco shoppers, and Stater Brothers ALSO has.  you guessed it.  An Outlet Mall.

Any town with all this crap can’t be all that fancy. Besides, my cousin Jane lives there.  Her husband runs a surf school.  Yeah, for real.  And she’s a Bruin.  I mean need I say more about that city?

 

But what I really wanna know is.  Did you watch the video?

Yes I watched it, it’s super funny, calling the guy Mr. Hello thinking that is his name.  I feel like this every time I go anywhere near downtown LA.  My question for you is what were you doing at Michael’s?  Isn’t that a fabric store?  Maybe you could quilt Pasadena a Sam Darnold blanket to snuggle in while watching the game?

It’s a craft store picture framing, decorations, scrapbook hardware to hang stuff up

but in back, they’ve got a service counter where you can take your kids Little League jersey and have it framed. or create what they call shadowboxes things like that

so I was having an old newspaper article written about us framed in the same way that it’s done at our Hesperia office  I did it for our Ontario office

 

originally, I stumbled into them because I was doing some stuff when we were moving into the Dana point house and the back counter of Michael’s was just full of flaming homos who are really good at this artsy stuff. and naturally, I thought of you know who when I was coming face-to-face with flaming homos in San Clemente

so I hire out the arts and crafts to the gay dudes in your neighborhood.  Probably all your friends.  Right next door to the white trash at the opportunity zone wal mart
