drove through Downey and then buena park on way to Knotts Chicken Restuarant. Starting with $3’s everywhere

Seems like OC gas is def cheaper than LA county. Of course taxes

Who was it that hid in the maintenance closet when a car backfired in the parking lot and caused a panic, was that Ballss?

That chicken is so good though, need to stop in next time I am in the area, a bit of a drive, but have thought of doing it just for that.

Best fried chicken is at Knotts. You drove thru Downey, the last Pioneer chicken restaurant standing. They also have an H Salt Fish and Chips and a few great Cuban restaurants.

You drive thru Downey to go to Buena Park? You can’t drive on the freeway or what? 5 south  to Beach Blvd. Easy peasy

For those that don’t recall, I was at Knotts with my 4 nephews, who I see the same as  my own children . Ages 4, 6, 11 and 13. Fantastic kids that I love unconditionally. I put them in my living trust as beneficiaries. They will be millionaires someday. I changed their lives . There was a shooting outside of Knotts on Beach blvd. Total chaos as everyone was saying the shooter was loose. Employees at the stores were ushering people into the stores for safety. Probably most of you have never been in an active shooter situation but with kids, you can’t take chances. They can’t run very fast. It turned out to be a drive by shooting with one person being shot but he lived.
