This comment by the  Supreme Court is at the heart of the decision. “the vehicle is an imposition of taxes on Americans, and that has always been the core power of Congress.”

Defining tariffs as taxes is like calling Obama Care the Affordable Care act. And why is it fair for other countries to impose significant tariffs on our imports but not on theirs?That doesn’t sound like FREE trade to me rather it sounds like UNFAIR trade. Thats not financially viable long term.
