ParticipantLet’s us all say a prayer for one of USC’s greatest FB players. Joey Browner, AA & All Pro saftey passed away on 3-28-26. He was 65 yrs old, no cause and where mentioned in report. But, it was said he was struggling with multiple health issues for years. I’ll always remember him and his brother AA LB, Keith Browner (died, 63 yrs, Nov 2025). We stole them from going to Notre Dame. Glad they decided to be Trojans and play FB at USC. Dang, both brothers were tremendous FB players. Fight On and God Bless Joey Browner… Aloha Bruddah!

ParticipantYou beat me to it, I was going to post this earlier but got interrupted by an annoying business call. If I had my priorities right I would have let that call go to voicemail and finished my post on the WW.
5 Browner brothers and three made it to the NFL. Keith died too young as well. RIP. -

ParticipantBruddah Balls, no you have your priorities right. Making income for your family is #1 in my book. Your sympaties for Bruddah Joey is a Big Shaka. Yeah, the entire Browner family were very good athletes. I think 2 older brothers played for Notre Dame, but Keith liked USC and Calif mo betta. Joey followed Keith to USC and Los Angeles.
Our boys must see film of these 2 brothers play and get inspired and learn how to play FB. Keith and Joey were tuff and physical FB players. I will always remember them, just awesome Trojans… Cheers
