UW & UCLA?  LSU, Pedd St and their fans are NOT happy unless they are in the playoffs and competing for a NC every year. They are willing to fire above average coaches to chase those expectations. UW and UCLA are happy with winning seasons and occasional bowl games. Given the general consensus on this Board, it seems like USC is not just content with but happy with being a Tier 2 program.

We will let you know in 8 years as State Penn gave Franklin 12.  During which he won the tax slayer and pin stripe bowls.  Lost the rose bowl.  Uh. To usc.   Won the fiesta bowl over UW   Lost 5 games and the citrus bowl in 2018.  Won the cotton bowl I. 19.  Went 4-5 in 2020. 2021 lost the Outback bowl to go 7-6.

2022 won the rose bowl against Utah.   2023 finished w 3 losses.

2025 fires mid season and his fell apart

 

ao they game him 12 years.  He won two major bowls and got the the playoff last year.    You act like they fired a guy who was at the top of the game and was fired for not winning it all.

he had losing seasons.  4 loss seasons.  Several bad bowl losses.  A poor record versus ranked opponents  Specifically  Ohio the state and Michigan.

So yeah.  If Riley coaches USC another 8 years and doesn’t beat a top 5 team?   Only wins two major bowls?  Then you probably have a point.  Until then.  As usual.  You flail and miss

Thanks for making my point. Franklin had accomplished FAR more than Riley at USC. At Pedd St, that’s not good enough. Meanwhile, youre happy as a pig in shit.
