Been in Valencia and Mallorca for the past 11 days, and presumably my quacks have been out as well, busy reading their pre-season press clippings and counting their NIL earnings, no doubt.
I am still hoping for a good, competitive game (I see this VERY possibly getting REALLY ugly at the Coliseum for Oregon, like USC 21-point blowout-ugly) – it will depend upon two things: Oregon’s OL playing even remotely competently (the biggest concern this team had pre-season) AND keeping Maiava from running loose on Oregon’s D in this game.
Those are my two biggest fears – and above all other of Oregon’s issues right now. Both teams need this W badly – for so many reasons. The Coliseum will be a-rocking today, unfortunately….
Anyway, catch you Trojans on the other side of this defining moment for both Trojans and quacks.
