KeymasterAnd here they are actually talking about it. I said you would see the B10 and the SEC both gravitate toward separate Universes. Some conferences would adopt the SEC model, some the B10. The B 10 model might end up with sub conferences. They could come up with an incredibly unique idea like having the best teams in the east play the best in the west at a January 1 game. We could call it “the Rose Bowl” What a concept
I think we might see different applications of academics. Money, and steroids. Perhaps even years or games of eligibility.
And in the end we will all argue who is the true national champ. The team that emerges from the SEC tournament with teams maybe from the ACC or Big East. Or teams from the B10 pool that includes the 18-20 B10 teams and the B12 and the rest of the west. Maybe throw in the MAC.
And after it’s all over, after 30 years of “evolution” we will be right back where we started, arguing over two national CHampions and people calling for a playoff for them to play

ParticipantYa I don’t know what was going on with that post, I got a birria taco off a food truck and it messed with my mind. It was probably horse meat or something they found in a ditch.
