ParticipantStart Rock Hill at corner
Our DBs can’t give 10 yards of space EVERY down. need to press man cover sometimes
I think we ran a lot of man today. Guess we have to try zone once in a while because we couldn’t guard anyone
DL does not play as a unit
Edge guys need to stop losing it. Crashing down into middle and no one stays home
Time to see Sermons at nickel or safety
Rutgers WRer Huff was a beast. Hard to shut down great WRers. Maybe he will be one of those
Guys are playing hard. Some talent is there. Has to be scheme
Wafle needs to learn the Dwight (colts) spin move. Only has a Bull rush. Hes too athletic to not have multiple moves
Pete liked to slant all DLs on some run Downs just to mix it up and give O something to think about. I would try it. We need to get their O off the field
we need the safety urhlacher blitz. And corner blitz like fsu game. Gotta outscheme some folks. Straight up isn’t working
what do you guys think?

ParticipantVery disappointing performance by the defense yesterday. Rock Hill had the second most snaps at corner yesterday. Jontez got hurt. We were in a prevent defense a lot yesterday which pissed me off. It’s Rutgers coach! We also were rushing three guys a lot of the game. Patterson went very vanilla which I hope and pray was to not show the Ducks much on film. Patterson told Shaun Cody in an interview last week that he wants to keep things vanilla for now.
some more thoughts on defense later-

ParticipantI would move Wafle to middle linebacker and have him captain the defense from there. He is a legit NUMBER 55. besides he can’t seem to find the quarterback at defensive end. Seems stupid that he’s not involved in half the plays. sc

ParticipantIdk. Hes still growing too. He seems to be a legit 265’ of muscle? Isnt that too big?
He’s effective at LOS. The big cushion by DBs is not giving them enough time to get there
