      Florida
      Florida State
      Georgia
      LSU
      Miami
      Michigan

      Ohio State
      Oklahoma
      Penn State
      Tennessee
      Texas
      Texas A&M
      USC

I’ve seen all 18 in person and have been to 14 of their venues.  What about you?

I’ve seen all except aTm at the Coliseum. Seven of them, plus aTm, have only played once at the Coliseum in the modern era.

11, all against USC.  All wins for the Trojans except Free Shoes U. They got us twice but we should have won at the Coliseum. Our corner dropped a pick that would have been a TD. Brian Kelly was his name? Gator will know. 1996 maybe? Bullshet artist Hackett lost in Tallahassee. Saw us beat Auburn twice, home and away. My bucket list games: LSU and between the hedges in Ga.

Close.  FSU at the Coliseum was in 1997, the week after Princess Diana died.

1997, yeah. Our defense played great that night. Our section right behind the USC sideline stood up every time they held on third down and ran back to the bench. . FSU brought a ton of fans. I was in the concession beer line  chatting up an FSU fan and he said, “ man I was nervous about coming out to this game. I heard so many stories about the area and the USC fans but this is awesome”. It was a great environment that night.

FSU was the hot team in college football in those days.

Nailed it. I recall us playing LSU and Tennessee but I can’t recall us ever playing the others.
I would have loved to have been at this one in Baton Rouge. I don’t recall why we wore home jerseys, do you remember? Too bad the video is such poor quality. Like they used a potato to record it.

You’re not old enough to have seen the others.

Georgia, aTm, Clemson, and Miami all came to the Coliseum in the 60s.  When Georgia came, Fran Tarkenton was the QB. Ted Hendricks was on the Miami team.

        Florida came in 1983.

Yeah I missed those games. If only I’d been born earlier.

I’ve witnessed Alabama at LSU on a Saturday night and have been to Athens for a game between the hedges. I can tell you nothing will compare to USC at Penn State on a Whiteout Saturday night.

Alabama at LSU would be a blast. Were you at one of those 6-3 games?

I was in that endzone and saw that from behind. Man, that sucked. Nothing but green in front of him. And he was one of our better corners over several years. We sucked anyway, but that was a bummer.

Soory Bruddah do not mean to burst your bubble, but TV coverage is way better.  With TV, one can see things up close, replays, hear announcers giving game, players, coaches info’s.  Camera man zooming in on Cheerleaders and cute co-eds in the stands.  At home, I get very cold beers and great pupu’s + cool air conditio vs hot, sun on your head and face.  I get to see multiple games on Saturday.  You get to see only one game + pay for expensive tickets and food…  Cheers

Hahaha, good point Bruddah but I gotta disagree. Yes, being at the game means some inconvenience  and hassle. But there is nothing like Gameday environment and especially a big win. The Bush Push game remains a great core memory for me. Being at the Orange bowl vs Oklahoma? Wow. Texas game not so much. Spending $5-6K to travel across the country is worth it. I probably would have spent that on something useless or worse yet lost it in the stock market. Going to USC games is my vice. Some people spend their money on drugs, I prefer to spend it going to USC games! I travel with my wife and 4 kids. We have a great time. Cheers.

Shaka Bruddah Balls, no I get it you USC alums are loyal Trojans fans.  Great you guys back the FB team at home games and even away games; help generate revenue and pay da bills for USC athletics.  I’m not an USC alum and do not have those deep feelings about the school and team.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m crazy about USC FB and sports, but I enjoy watching USC + the other FB games on TV (it is an all day and night event for me).  In fact, my FB TV weekend starts Friday night, HS FB games, get to see 2 to 3 games.  But, I’ve been to Championships and big rivalry games in da live (it’s at night which is nice an cool unlike day games which is hot).

I do not watch or follow the NFL games on Sunday unless it’s the playoffs or Super Bowl.  I find da Pro game boring, scoring is nothing but FG’s and short yardage TD’s).  I do not have a favorite pro team that I follow or loyal to.  So, on Sunday’s after church, we get to play some tennis, paddle tennis, pickle-ball or just go to a nice beach for bunch.

I hear pre-game tailgating is a wonderful and fun thing to do and experience.  And, most of all, the stadium is loud and electric.  No TV can emulate that environment.  Also, I’ve tried watching Saturday games with friends, but dat did not work out well.  Everyone wanted or did not want to watch certain games (switching).  So, I watch FB games by myself (my wife does her thing, little interest in FB.  It’s not fun because she does not understand the in’s and out’s of FB.  And, I understand her position.  At least she cooks most of the PuPu’s for me)…  Cheers

      12. Missed the 6 mentioned earlier and I did see Florida. Ted tollners first game.  First game of year.  Home.  Salisbury marches downfield with little time.  Hits like a 35 yard td to tie it.  With no time on clock.  USC celebrates so wildly that they screw up the Pat and don’t win but tie.  And that was a harbinger of things to come.

saw Michigan at Michigan but they were playing moo u. Not usc.

That was the most unsatisfying tie ever.  Like walking away with par after missing a 9-inch birdie putt.

1983 was a pretty ugly season.  As you said, the opener was a preview of things to come.  And the things to come were SC’s Dark Ages, 1983-2001.
