You didn’t say who he was but I’m guessing de boer knew him on the recruiting trail from Washington when he went to USC and felt he’d fit at bama I remember usc losing skmeone. I just forgot who

Yeah he was a rotational guy. I was surprised to see someone actually pay him  I believe he was one of those three star guys who had risen to the point where he was going to start or be an important player, but I’m not sure that Lynn or whoever that previous defensive line coach was Mr dog work  valued him that much

Meanwhile Bear had a decent year for Oregon last year, much better than the year he had for SC. Not sure if we just can’t develop big guys in the D trench or what?
