I would say freeland or Kim.  Both are mlb ready and both should be playing. Only one can.  I suppose you could wait till the ones retires then you have  room for one

Each of the  above players could be pieces in a skubal puzzle   Or more really   Can likely flip each for a quality AA prospect

Bobby miller.  Functional a few years ago as a starter.  Never make it back.  Blew up.  Need to give him a fresh start.

I think think it happens this year but after the season I think they have some hard decisions on Sasaki   Sheehan and glasnow   Sheehan has to get that era below 4  wrobleski has emerged to take his spot    Roki is not fulfilling his potential at all and it’s going stale   He and emmet are cheap so you can let it drag on a bit but both have high value and would be middle of rotation pieces for other teams

glasnow can’t make a living being a 10 start regular season guy who ends up as a playoff 4 starter   Guy has more trade value than that

here’s a shocking name  Eric lauer   Was dfa by the jays   Dodgers will have gotten a 3.1 era out of him in 8-9 starts   Great value   And rebuilt his career   He’s an incoming fa so he’s grateful   For the rebuild    A 3.1 era has great value to a contender   Even a rental   You can get two months of regular season starts to secure a playoff spot and a 3.1 era is a 2-3 starter for most anyone   And he could resign with a good run

I think LA could get a teams top 5 prospect as a position of need here   Totally a steal   If they can find a team where two other top 5 prospects are catchers?  Dodgers could take the second guy   They lack depth there and the other team can’t use two top C prospects   But everyone can use a lefty w a 3.1 ERA in August to October

reason I’m trading lauer?   You have Yamamoto shohei wrobleski and soon  snell and glasnow   So you’re in good shape there and lauer is a free agent so he’s not under team control. Get something for him.

I think even if you don’t see a blockbuster I think those guys all could be moved to get them off the 40 man and get some value for them.
