Keymasterthis is a trap game. Everyone talking 3 Pete is missing that the Dodgers went 1–5 against the Braves. Day games in dodger Stadium make it a hitters Park. They’re starting 2 lefties because they think lefties can handle the Braves lineup better-although that did not work out well for the Phillies who tried the same
I don’t think Tarik. Has pitched particularly well for the Dodgers. starting him in a series in the daytime against the Braves looks like a pit to fall in
advantage I see for the Dodgers is that they could beat you three different ways. Their starting pitchers may not have the greatest numbers, except Snell. But they go deep and they’re capable of beating you with their starting pitching.
Their offense has been inconsistent this year, but as we know, they are capable of explosion and have a lot of talent and their defense is also high-quality. very smart team and one of those can make a major difference and by itself can win a game and the Dodgers have all three components
edit Problem is their O has disappeared for months They have injuries bullpen has been a mess Tucker teo tommy have been terrible as pages has fallen off his hot start
That said I’ve seen that they’re starting pitching blown up and I’ve seen their hitting completely disappear and I never trust Day games at dodger Stadium

KeymasterThank you pt for pointing that out. Never should have hit send button without reading what Siri did to my voice text. Awful. Looked like grocery stick in that post
I edited it to make it more readable now

KeymasterMy point in support of the dodgers is that few teams can throw guys out and win a series with a bunch of 2-0 games.
few teams can win a series with a bunch of 10-8 games.
LA being both gives them a huge edge. The fact they are so inconsistent keeps it interesting

KeymasterYep, gave up one run but left LA in a bad position having to cover 5 innings of bullpen. That’s kind of what he does Hate how he pitches from behind.
LA now faces Sale and the other guy, Mulloy? On the road. Guy has a 1.96 ERA. This series may not even make it back to LA.
My heart doesn’t break either way, this is the way playoff matchups happen. But baseball is very hard to win and survive, much less do it two in a row. 3 is even harder. It’s why no one has done it in the NL ever. And no one in MLB for 25 years.
