Dodgers also have too many prospects and need to convert some top prospects either into roster spots to give them their MLB debut or convert them to promising younger bodies. Like trade a good AAA guy for two top A guys.
Don’t understand their hate for Kim. Nor the love for Freeland. You gave the Korean millions. Play him or trade him. I love him. They hate him.
So for me, I think we are going to see LA trade Ryan Ward. Too old to be a rookie and they have younger talented OF. I think Freeland or Kim will also be traded, though Freidman loves those utility versatile guys like Kike Kim, Freeland and Rojas and Edmond.
I don’t WANT this but I would not be surprised to see Sheehan, Freeland/Kim and Ward all traded. Hopefully they can get some top young talent for them.
I think the Skubal talks are just LA driving up the market for him. I don’t see that happening. I think Glasnow and Snell, who haven’t really even played this season, will be healthy by playoffs and that gives them enough top arms. Smith at C showing they have no depth in the Minors system beyond Rushing.. Rushing has recovered from his 2025 rookie yips. He’s functional though has an attitue.
