Dam, OL Reis Russell to UDub

Just learned dat an OL on USC Big Board, Reis Russell, Colorado picked UDub today.  Shoot, dat’s 3 players (DL-Ioane, RB-Adeyaju, OL-Russell) dat USC was R hard, but picked UDub instead.  Freaken C.Fisch is a menace, he is a torn to GM Bowden arse.  Dam, we just lost out Roper, Colorado to UCLA.  Dam, what’s going on.  The pressure is on, USC must land Hawaiian OL, Bertola…  Cheers

UDUB must have some nefarious dark Epstein money fueling their NIL and paying for his public commitment in order to scam the college football world into believing that they are a program that is on the rise.  They are not running a pure, grassroots recruiting campaign that relies on truth, justice, and the USC way.  They are simply making it rain, damn the torpedos, full steam ahead!  This is an outrage!  I think I will now soil myself!

Bruddah GTrojan, This was gonna be a small class (18 players) and all the USC pundits said C.LR wanted 3 OL.  We got Fielder.
After seeing USC big board, listed were 8 OL, out of the 8 OL, I was hoping for Roper and Betola.  Roper is out to UCLA.  And, from searches Bertola #1 is Cal, on staff are 2 Hawaiian AC’s.  Bertola knows both coaches well and feels at home at Cal.  #2 is USC, his dream school.  I do not know how this one will go, maybe 60/40, Cal/USC.  We got to get Bertola + one more from their big board or wait for the TP..  Cheers

While I think USC “could” recruit 4-5 top OL? Meaning unlike others I think this USC class will not be 18-19 but more like 22 (unless they go portal to replace portal out losses). So that means recruiting one of every position on the field.

That would be 5 OL. I don’t see at this point USC recruiting 5 top shelf OL or 4 top shelf DL. After last year’s class, I can see maybe 2 top level DL and two top level OL. And IF they recruit anymore, they will be the 4-5 year project type that comes for a ride and that’s all.

Like you, I am concerned about QB. I think they get one HS and one portal. I think they’ll get one RB, a couple WR. 3-4 OL and DL. 4 DB. and a couple LB. All of a sudden we are up to about what, 20 there? Fills up fast. We are in May and they already have 13 guys committed? Out of 19-22 spots? That’s way early and way more than we are traditionally used to.

Why would a top ranked OL or DL pick WR University? We’re going to like up 11 kenyans on both sides of the ball and throw it up for grabs.
