Every year, a high number of the top 20 college QB’s held or received 0 to 3 stars ratings by the R services.  It shows how these R services miss on QB analysis, especially when they give out 5* to QB’s.  Many 5* QB’s were out played by the lower rated QB’s.

The other fails are the big Power teams & coaches, which pretty much rely and recruit the 5* to 4* QB’s.  They fail in their due diligence & search for these low rated but awesome QB’s.

I remember back in 2018, when USC landed Kedon Slovis 3*, an under da radar QB.  Dang, many fans went nuts and slammed C. Helton and OC. Graham Harrell (what da hell are they doing).  Shoot, Kedon turned out to be an awesome QB.  Story was he was coached by All NFL QB Kurt Warner, who contacted Matt Leinart with KS HL tape.  Matt was impressed and contacted C. Helton, who was impressed by Slovis HL tape as well.  C. Helton sends Graham Harrell to scout him in da live and after seeing KS practice offered him on da spot.

Then, the big story line was NFL, All Pro Josh Allen, from a small farming town of the Fresno area.  JA had 0 stars and 0 offers from the big D-1 schools.  JA worked out for Fresno St and did not offer him (fools).  Then, JA worked out for  Wyoming, da HC & OC saw his talents and offered him on da spot.  These guys coached Carson Wentz, obviously they have an eye for QB’s.

At the moment, USC does not have any 2027 QB targets.  I think C. LR should go outside the box and find these types; they are all over the country

See below at the top 18 college QB’s and see their HS R star ratings.. You will be surprised how many of them had low QB ratings coming out of HS…  Cheers.
