At this point we don’t know much except likely no long term issues, MRI and CT scans came back clean.  I would guess he’ll be out for a few weeks at a minimum while under concussion protocol, maybe longer?

Just like best-case scenario for you Trojans is to get a new head coach.

this game was tied and usc was getting the ball back with momentum in the 4th when Oregon was handed a sympathy roughing call.  Totally bs.  That was the difference.  That call doesn’t happen. USC wins.

so no not butthurt.  Other than any loss.  But Dan grandstanding as he does?  Using his own players injury as a chance to shoot off his mouth and make a recruiting pitch?  To take shots at another teams fan base?  You really have to be proud or trailer park trash like that.  He fits right in doesn’t he?

USC is fine.  And Oregon can thanstephens for giving them raiola on the field. Moore doesn’t win that game

as to better class.  You’ve witnessed the way Oregon has bought their program with criminals and money.  If you’re proud of one Heisman no NC and being known more for your uniform changes and billboards than your teams accomplishments.  Fantastic.

I said last year usc would be lucky to play  Oregon within two td and the game was closer than expected.  This year the talent gap has narrowed but the depth and experience still favor Oregon.  That happens through binding depth and experience. USC played a roster of freshmen Saturday night and it took a lucky injury for Oregon and a very lucky sympathy call to win the game.

if you think the teams are headed in opposite directions you may be right.  You also may not recognize those directions

Java, can’t believe you’re still banging the drum for CLR?  It’s frankly a bit amazing to me. Seems like based on the national and the local LA media plus posts from SC fans these past few days on your Trojan sites, all are quite bearish on CLR as well if not calling for his head outright.

I have no dog in this fight, other than to say that pre-season I was concerned that if Oregon wins this game, it could eventually usher in the DeBoer era at SC (which mandb promptly called me out on….lol).

We quacks WANT Riley at USC for a long, long time. Trust us.

USC has ALWAYS been the sleeping giant in the NCAA.  And Coach Lincoln Riley is better than Ambien in that regard….

Oregon bet heavy that they could buy players 4-5 years ago and that they new world was pay for play.  USC was scared and didn’t jump in the pool, assuming NCAA would come down.

 

For the first 3 Q of Saturdays game you saw true freshman with the only catches for USC   You can’t beat a NC contender like that.  Took them a long time to get Bowden and to get their NIL fixed a year after Bowden arrived.  Now they clearly have some young talent but they played a deeper more experienced team.  And they had the game tied at 27 in the 4th

If Lanning is such a great coach and Riley so bad.  Why don’t you want Lanning fired for playing a bunch of freshman to a tie before a horrible roughing call hands Oregon the winning td?

 

You want Riley fired because you want USC to start all over because you know they are on the right track.  Would have preferred a win Saturday but when you play a game like that I can see they are making progress.  We will see if USC is patient enough to sustain that

I care very little about what fans say.  I’ve always been that way.

 

Riley has an offensive track record.  He is Steve Spurrier.  He needs to find his Bob Stoops and when he does USC will be a top 5 team.
