…and seeing things I didn’t sitting there on a perfect football Saturday afternoon at Autzen Stadium, it re-affirms my prediction – Oregon will lose at USC and at tOSU but will sneak into the playoffs none-the-less, likely along with Boise St.

Never said nor thought my quacks were a #2 team this season, but still good enough to get into the playoffs where I still expect them to go undefeated once there (pending Dante’s health).

TONS of things to clean up, sloppy play, poor coaching and play-calling, can’t have 10 penalties.  Just cannot.  OL wasn’t as much of a concern as I had anticipated, but games vs USC and tOSU will be telling in that regard.

Oregon’s front 4 on D has a TON to prove still….and my guess is they will in the coming weeks.  Dante was Dante, perhaps even an improved Dante with no real run game on Saturday to take the pressure off, so that was one positive.

But overall a definitely vastly underwhelming display by my quacks on Saturday.  This is *maybe* a top 25 team right now whereas Boise St looks solid and should be in Top 25.

Hoping USC takes Oregon spot and Oregon takes USC’s spot in the polls by Sept 26th.  Ducks play much better with a chip on their wing….and right now USC deserves to be top 5, I’d say.

Want my quacks hungry and under-appreciated for that game in the Coliseum. Can’t wait!!  🙂

We are not falling for that sandbagging trick LAD.

      You’re in Barcelona that day?

No trick.  Just how I see it developing.

We actually pivoted from Barcelona to Valencia instead, and most of our time will be spent in Mallorca anyway.  Come back the morning of the USC game…. 🙂

Boise’s stupid playcalling at the end of the 1st half gave you a TD and the margin of victory.

Yep. That was a very winnable game for Boise.

Actually I’d say the missed call by the ref (kick-catch interference) turning the ball over to BSU after the muffed catch, and then them running a screen pass for the TD on the next play was part of what made the game closer than it probably would have been.

You finally realized Lanning can’t coach.   He’s gone after this year.  Bye bye.
