      Predictions on Riley’s hiring being good or bad are probably a bit more deserving of a “remember when I predicted…” post about Tacket Curtis.

        I was wrong about Riley, thought he was a good hire at the time. I thought Sam Darnold was going to be really good in college when he was coming out of HS and posted it then, but I don’t feel the need to come back years later and post about how great my prediction was.

        Why don’t you make a prediction and see what happens.

         

        I posted on this board that Carson Palmer would be the first USC quarterback to win the heisman WHILE HE WAS STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL, and I went to see him live at Sadleback college.   I posted a man playing with boys.

         

        How did that one work out?

        I was at the first summer practice at UCI when Carson and Jason Thomas were throwing 15-20 yard warm of passes right next to each other.   You could hear the zip on Carson’s wrist flips.

         

        If I recall Jason walked out of practice and never came back. Wonder where he is today. He went to poly so prison wouldn’t be out of the question.  hope not.  sc

        Sporting news had a recruiting update about those two guys and how lucky USC was to have them.

        double trouble didn’t last long. But I do remember he played hoops for us to. So maybe he redshirted? And stuck around.

        unfortunately he wasn’t very good at college hoops either. A poor man sir Charles. Didn’t see any hops.

        think he left soon after hoops

        that was a fun recruiting year.

         

        Garry P (rip) heavy set jolly young man who I met at SC’s first practice told me he planned on making a living covering SC football on the internet.  He was taking notes on his laptop.  I thought that was kind of crazy.  Who knew?

         

        He had a recruiting dinner at the sports bar across from the pond. He expected like 50 guys and several hundred showed up and were lined up out the door.  He was so freaked out.

        I make predictions all the time.

        You lie and then claim you said stuff.  Never can prove it.  Or you predict on both sides then come back and claim you said something.  you never predicted Carson because you are “see I told you so” San Clemente not “see watch what happens” San Clemente

        Riley?  You wanted that loser from Baylor.  Briles?  And Fickell.  Real genius you are.  Oh and that guy who quit college football from UW.  You said Riley was an OK hire and that USC would score a lot of points.  Real limb you went on there.

         

        So yes, others here predict stuff often. You just sit and play second guessing complainer.  We know.  Been watching your loser show for years

        You’re the human equivalent of a participation trophy.
