      Word up is Danny boy went hard after the D, after their poor performance in the 2nd half.    Two DBs with significant playing time quit and entered the portal.   Another starting DB; Finney apparently not happy.   Unknown at this time if he will play next game or enter the portal.

      word up is players are not happy Stein and Josh are part time after bailing to be coaches elsewhere.    Lanning made some speech about players and the portal which didn’t help

      Ducks will be at square one next year.   Most of their studs will be going nfl.   Moore is definitely gone; knowing he’s a top five pick.  Multiple players who aren’t satisfying with playing time or Nil will be hitting the portal

      Ducks will be losing Stein   And Tosh recruiting abilities

      Lanning will be gone the next time a Big SEC job opens up ,   no this was not the year     But after losing his OC- DC: top players    And with no QB in line for next year   –  the odds are he’s gone after next year and the Ducks end up 8-4  ;

      I told LADuck Lanning was a fraud     All hype with no substance

      The tech game could get ugly with the locker room gone

      Dam, if true what bad timing for team morale problems.  Can’t blame C. Lanning for scolding his D, the D did slack off in da 2nd half.  Shoot, it’s his job as HC to put down the hammer, especially when so much is at stake (CFP qt finals and a very good chance winning a NC).  In reality, a HC can not have primadonnas who can’t take a little heat by the HC.

      Nice to have loads of 5* and 4* players, but a team will fail when some will not think team 1st.  In the players defense, it’s natural when popular coaches leave for another job, that can cause turmoil and upset players.  Good thing, the team has good DB depth.  Good luck vs  Texas Tech.  T T deserves the #4 seed, they are a very good team.  Looking forward to watching da game…   Cheers

      Oregon will get one of the top transfer qbs. They’ll be fine.

      TEE just being TEE.

      I would expect nothing less.

      In similarly factual Oregon news about how the ducks are imploding, Phil Knight has just turned his allegiance to the Washington Huskies and is funding $1B worth of NIL for them in 2026 and moving NIKE to a headquarters off of Montlake.

      Seriously though, losing Lopa at safety will sting some in the playoffs, but the other DB hasn’t played significant minutes since the Rutgers game 7 games ago. Unknown what Moore will do, but most tend to think absent of a championship, Moore will be back. If not, as Steve Wiltfong notes, Oregon will have the pick of QBs in the transfer portal….not difficult to believe.

      BTW I wouldn’t be surprised if ANY Oregon football player transfers out to another program for NIL reasons (except perhaps for Dante Moore). Just the way college football operates in these NIL days. But I don’t see it happening with Finney.

      Enjoy the playoffs…..if you can, TEE….your Oregon football program is not crashing to the ground just yet… 🙂
