Bruddah Java, Yeah dat would have been the natural process. But, I do not think Arkansas really forgave him for his sex scandal with his assistant back in 2012 as the HC. Remember his motorcycle accident with his assistant dat blew up the affair. He got fired for dat sheet (Mucho lies/deceit). I think when C. Pittman brought him as OC, Arkansas officials bent and accepted Petrino back as OC. And, maybe Arkansas did not want any AC dat was part of the C. Pittman team anymore?
Bobby Petrino is a brilliant O mind and one of the best OC. Let’s see if he and C. Belichick will make a good team for 2026. Shoot, C. Belichick needs all da help, his 2025 season was disastrous… Cheers
