  I would assume they were trying to get the early enrollees on campus. But USC should contact each kid they liked in that class.
  
  I would imagine they will hire from within. Though Utah signing some 500 billion Private equity deal might give them all the money they want. If they do go outside then a whole host of Group of 5 schools better watch out. Or top level D1 coordinators.

  Interesting that he didn’t want to be part of the program under the new PE cash and business model . He is 66 years old, not too old but not a young buck either.

    Don’t you think it was the PE guys that didn’t want a really good but not great coach? I’m sure you’ve had some experience with PE. They can get a top tier HC, top assistants and still have scads of NIL. If they nail that down, my question is where do they get a return? Advertising? Merchandise? % of ticket sales? Honestly don’t know. I’m sure they have it figured out

  Whittingham’s career at Utah is what Riley’s will be like if he stays at USC for 21 years. Win 2/3rd of his games. Have some good teams but no great teams.. 2-3 players into the NFL most years. A few under .500 years. Never win anything. NOTHING!

    Seems to me Utah won the PAC-12 in 2021 and 2022 and went to the Rose Bowl when USC was still in the PAC, and you’re dissing him????

    Bro, I already said, Whittingham’s messy record is good for Utah. Riley = Whittingham. 21 years of good at Utah is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AT USC.
